<title>Comments on: The Oakville sub. east of Burlington east hasn&#8217;t been heavy with through freights in years but at least years ago it had a few trains polishing the rails. Aldershot yard must have been busy this day as CN 435 left its train east of Burlington West, taking only the cars to be dropped with it then returning as light power. Back then motive power was a decent mix with EMD/GE MLW and BBD power. In the consist this day was a borrowed NS C30-7 and a soon to be retired HR616 along with a few other not as interesting units. Unfortunately the rail served customers to the left are no longer there today and freight wise the Oakville subdivision here is much quieter under Metrolinx ownership today.</title>
