<title>Comments on: The price of progress. It is unfortunate that the service in some cases has outgrown some of the older facilities. I have fond memories of photographing the old CN local here in Cobourg busy working the yard. Today not a freight car in the yard, but the station facilities have grown a lot here much like Belleville. Now a walkway bridge overshadows the old station now creating 3 usable station tracks for the corridor service. VIA has even outgrown the fleet of well weathered P42’s that will reportedly leave the fleet once all the new train sets arrive. Only time will tell but I guess now is a good time to focus on the VIA Rail we all know now, as changes are coming.</title>
