Comments on: The second CN SD40-2 I ever saw, and IMHO, still by a wide margin, the best-looking locomotive I’ve ever seen. There is just something about the balance. It has no bad or ugly angles and that cab was perfection. Too bad it was lost to what appears to be cost cutting. Sitting on the shop tracks with an RS18 trailing….when anything was possible.
