Comments on: The second of three sets of Ontario Northland Siemens equipment has been delivered to VIA Toronto Maintenance Centre. Arriving at 00:43, CN L276 negotiated their way through the yard with VIA crews driving ahead to line up their movement to the fuel stand, where ONT 1802 was waiting. Now tied down, CN 5708 has cut away, and runaround for the conductor to grab the EOT before heading back to Aldershot. In the distance, a conductor’s lanterns sways, giving hand signals to ONT 1802 as it crawls back towards the newest delivery.

Nicely done. Both Northlander sets were sitting side by side along with ONR 1802 in the rain at TMC this morning.

Thanks, John. Working nights does give an advantage for shooting unusual moves like this. No idea on the final set, but should be soon.

Jacob, great colourful picture ! Also, very informative, now we know there is a 2nd ONR train set at the TMC, and that ONR diesel 1802 is still at VIA’s TMC. Any information on when the 3rd set might arrive ? My guess is that once the 3rd set arrives, 1802 will take all 3 sets coupled together to North Bay. Thanks for posting. By the way, do you ever sleep ?
