I had been out here during the night doing long exposures, and figured why not come back for sunrise as the forecast called for partly cloudy conditions which usually makes for good colours. Home and work are only 30 minutes from Tilbury, and I had enough time to be in Tilbury for sunrise and still make it to work on time.
