Lead unit “tunnel motor” #3054 is a fan favourite and probably one of the most phographed locomotives in Ontario, that isn’t an Alco, or “F” unit. By years end not only the locomotives here will change but the paint scheme too as CN ends the lease of the line to the GEXR. The sight of second generation road units here surly will fade as newer wide cab, more environmentally friendly motive power takes over. Luckily the locals should still see a mix of older GP38s and GP9 rebuilds for years to come. Thanks Goderich Exeter for the fond memories, you will be missed, but at least the shortline should still survive on the lines to Goderich as well as to Hensal.
