Comments on: The weather for the Allied Forces on D-Day was not ideal. Overcast, rough seas and fog made it hard for the landing craft and Soldiers to navigate the obstacles approaching the beaches. I guess it’s appropriate that for today’s approaching CP Train #528, with the D-Day tribute unit #6644 on point, ‘less than ideal’ weather conditions prevail as well. Thankfully, for all those that gave on D-Day, I have the freedom to go out and do what I enjoy regardless of the weather conditions.
