Over my last two decades of photography I have captured a colourful array of locomotives here from CN to GEXR power in all colours, from Railtex to RailAmerica to GW. You're right about the building, it adds a lot of character to a rail photo. You 2 fellows did an excellent job using it as a background. The shutter must have been open quite some time for your shot, the flags had time to wave and become blurred.
