CP SD40-2 5625 and 5582 lead GP9 units 8484 (still in maroon & grey script paint), 8701, 8683 and 8685, and a fresh-looking SW900 6711 trailing with stack capped. Motive power sheets show 6711′s regular assignment at the time was Edmonton, so it could have been coming back from Winnipeg’s Weston Shops after receiving some maintenance work (it wasn’t equipped with MU so wasn’t online).
