<title>Comments on: These for me were the best OBRY days, with good old basically unmodified GP9 1000 ruling the rails. The line almost seemed to have a future back then, not to mention the loved Explorer trains. The old station site at Brampton had certainly seen better days, and sadly the station was moved to a plot of land west of the city to rot away. In the end the station looks as though it will outlive the line itself as it has been beautifully restored as part of Mount Pleasants community centre. OBRY 1000 here is seen crossing Nelson street and passing the old station site. Sadly 1000 was retired a few years ago and has either been scrapped or rotting away out west. The signal in the distance protects the diamond with the CN Halton subdivision.</title>
