Comments on: These guys are lucky to be alive! Just a few roads back, CP 235 hit a loaded dump truck at Concession 7 at better than 50 miles per hour. The dump truck ended on its side in the swamp and the driver managed to climb out to safety on the road. Still wearing some of the contents of the truck and with its cow catcher and ditch lights destroyed, they continued on their way to Wolverton. Make note of the buffer car and the tankers of Flammable liquid right behind the engines and this could have been much much worse for everyone.

That must have been an experience for that dump driver. No double he got his clock rattled. There are Activated Signals at that crossing, I’m sure, so makes me wonder why he would chance it.

Wow Bill they sure were lucky as you said. Was that on the same road as the acident many years ago with a dump truck and 904 from Windsor?
