Comments on: This is one of the last CP units I happened across in the old tuscan and grey paint scheme. I believe at this time there were only about 20 or so still in this scheme across the system. Should there have been the Beaver emblem on the nose?

This was the last CP F-unit in M&G script paint. The beavers were removed on any remaining M&G painted units in the mid-70's. 4037 would be repainted solid red a few months later for use in the original Superman movie as the loco pulling the Kansas Star. In all likelihood it was then touched up and had standard CP Rail markings applied when it was put back in freight service in late 77 or early 78.
