The dome also adds a touch of class to this train, don’t you think? 8249 was not a good performer on this day and it was quickly returned to CP for GP20C-ECO 2267. I figured that 8249 was done for and would be sent to its death or for conversion to an ECO but in fact it appears to be the very last survivor of this series on the roster today. 8249 is apparently US owned. For example, SOO Line Corporation is still a company in terms of CP's organizational structure, 8249 is probably assigned and owned by one of the US based silos, of which I don't know which one.
