Comments on: This old building is a mystery to me. I wish I made note of where I got information from back in the ’70s. On a trip to Hanover and area, I made sure I caught a photo of this station, as I knew it to be. But I have no idea where I got the information as I did not write it down. Anyway, this is a “GTR”, former GWR station, not too far from the cinder block Hanover station that many people in the area would recall (it was demolished in 1994). Of this building, I had my doubts, but checked Colin Churcher’s Railway Pages; and.there it is, a photo very similar to this one, taken 8 years later. I would imagine it is gone now.
