Comments on: This was always one of my favourite bridges in Hamilton complete with TH&B logos in decent shape. Unfortunately today they look a lot more worn and a set of traffic lights at the intersection litters the scene. Back then the chance of catching CP’s big SD90’s on the old one time TH&B Waterford subdivision seemed very unlikely but thanks to the new steel coil transfer facility at Aberdeen yard, it certainly helped the odds. Beyond the bridge once sat a few old rail served industries. The light patch of pavement marks the former location of one of the crossings. Here the two SD90’s have just finished backing their cut of coil cars into the yard.

How can you not appreciate SD90s and TH&B logos together? Even more unlikely is that Caprice, which was not anywhere near new in 2002, and was very likely driving under this underpass when the power was still maroon and cream.
