Comments on: Three GE AC4400CW’s, built in 1995, and seen here at CP’s Golden B.C. Yard in June, 1997. A great yard to photograph from the perimeter.

The 9555 was rebuilt in 2018 as AC4400CWM #8016, as was the 9561 which became #8051. The 9554 was delivered for rebuild in Texas in February 2019 ….. to the best of my knowledge.

Pleased you dropped by. This info is very much appreciated and I'm looking forward to taking advantage of it.

A good photograph, or a sometimes maybe not so good photograph, can both benefit with a degree of interesting and accurate history attached.

Thanks again!

Welcome ! I remember when I caught 9554 back during the CP Expressway days sometimes after she was rebuilt.

And here's the website where I got my info from. There's lots of good stuff there: http://www.mountainrailway.com/Roster%20Archive/CP%209500/CP%209554.htm

And thank you for sharing as well. Really great historical info. The 9554 and this photo are both more interesting now because of your input. Your comments are most welcome ... and if you could share your sources?

This was always my favorite paint scheme on CP. Here's something interesting about 9554: Wrecked at River Junction., LaCrosse WI. (11/4/2007). Repaired by Relco, Albia, IA, and outshopped in the Canadian Pacific paint scheme (2010).

Sent for rebuilt into CP 8077.
