Comments on: Three MLW 4-axle Centuries handle this CP freight past farmer’s fields just east of Bowmanville: recently repainted CP C424 4243 leads maroon and grey sister units 4230 and 4228 on a gloomy winter day. Part of CP’s first wave of second-generation Diesel Road Freight (DRF-class) locomotives purchased in the mid-60′s, the 2400-horsepower C424 fleet (4200-4250) were delivered in the maroon and grey “Script” livery, and were some of the first units to see the Action Red “Multimark” paint after it was introduced.
