	<title>Comments on: Three of ALCO&#8217;s finest !

ALCO&#8217;s behaving&#8230;.the way ALCO&#8217;s should&#8230;

Ok, ok&#8230;. these are MLW&#8217;s built under ALCO license.

Nevertheless these are Century&#8217;s !

 C-630M&#8217;s to be exact, built in Centennial year, CN classes MF-30a and MF-30b.

It seemed that the CN Engineman and crew were enjoying the sound as much as I was !

For some time after this Kodachrome was exposed one would have to travel to Quebec Cartier to see / hear pure ALCO lash ups!

( hey &#8211; hey: Wide cab ? What is that ? &#8230; And GMD ….is that a food additive ? ….and GE? They make toasters, right ? ….Plug door box cars ? ….Containers on regular flat cars ? )

Road Freight&#8230;the ALCO way ! October 9, 1984 Kodachrome at CN Snider by S.Danko.

More Century / big M power:

 leaning into the curve

  M for Magnificent

  big pushers
