Built by Procor Oakville for CP Company Service (Diesel Fuel). Single compartment tank car; rings adjacent to inboard wheels used as reinforcement. Nominal capacity 30,900 usg. No placards; car must be empty clean. One car from series renumbered CP 911, modified with man door in ‘A’ end head and painted fire engine red. Note the bottom shelf ‘F’ type couplers.

The 1977 TOREG (issued Oct.10, Vol.93, No.2) shows there were 19 of these tanks, 400000-400019. Described as Tank, Oil, Stl and good for 24900 Gals.

400015 is used for fire safety training in Ingersoll for anyone interested.

I believe these were diesel fuel transporters in CP’s ‘Service’ fleet.
