Comments on: Three spiffy CP geeps have run light down from Kinnear to Fisher Yard to lift a cut of cars and drag them back up to Kinnear. Units are 1691, 1650 and 1559. Back then these geeps were as common as dirt and we got sick of them. Now, it sure would be nice to see them again! There's that handful of ballast cars on the main of the Belt that you'd mentioned. And last year I would occasionally see what looked like overflow from Railcare on the main of the Belt there as well. I have seen the ballast cars leave and then seen them return a couple days later. Was told by one of the Kinnear guys that he had added them to 255's lift before to add weight to the head. They haven't needed them of late because 255's lift always has a string of loads from AIM on it lately. Yeah it doesn’t see any use at all.
