BNSF 1700 is an EMD GP9B locomotive. Built in the 1950s for Northern Pacific as #267.  Burlington Northern (BN) rebuilt from wrecked GP9s. As of this date, BNSF had 4 GP9B&#8217;s on their roster.</title>
