Comments on: To me it was a really sad state of affairs to realize that my favourite VIA, the late afternoon #75, was no longer a collection of power up front as in A-B-A or a combination of RS-18s and Cab units of sorts with 10-16 cars in tow but rather deteriorating to this puny #75 pictured here. This one, #6900 leader, was the first of the series 6900-6930 and for the most part the BBD LRC units were unreliable. An era of VIA that had me turned off going out for train #75 and moving on……………..
Location is by the former Aldershot Cold Storage building just to the west of the Waterdown Road overpass.

Great photo brings back some great memories. I enjoyed many relaxing "running to schedule" trips between Montreal and Toronto on 66/67 with these units doing the pulling and pushing.
