<title>Comments on: To supply traffic to CN’s Great Slave Lake line, Northern Alberta Railways ran a daily trip from McLennan to CN Roma Jct. near Grimshaw, and regular power was three of NAR’s four SD38-2 units, dynamic brake equipped for the grades down to and up from a crossing of the Peace River at the town of the same name. On Sunday 1980-09-28 at the south end of CN’s yard, NAR 402 + 403 + 404 on a GSL Turn are assembling their train (concentrate loads on the headend) for the return to McLennan under a gloriously clear Peace River country sky.

This is all CN territory now, and the SD38-2s have moved elsewhere.</title>
