Comments on: Train 403 fills up with diesel fuel before departing Mont-Joli for Joffre (Charny, QC), the locomotive, an early batch of SD70m-2, is nearing 20 years of age. Hard to believe they have been around for that long already… Especially with such clean paint.

Thanks John, unfortunately, the station sits abandoned, VIA Rail keeps it closed and passengers must wait outside the station. VIA Rail does nothing to promote its passenger rail outside of the corridor…

Ian, very nice picture of the Mont-Joli station, nice to see it in sunshine and day light. Is it being used by the Ocean, or does VIA only have a sign on a platform pole ? Hopefully the station is being looked after. Thanks for sharing, John
