<title>Comments on: Transcontinental passenger train &#8216;The Canadian&#8217;, classified as VIA 02, charges past the Ramara Rd grade crossing with 2 rebuilt F40PH-3&#8242;s as the power, running just over 12 hours late into Toronto from Vancouver.

The train had called the signal on the approach the Brechin as &#8216;VIA number 2 clear to stop advance Brechin&#8217;. While the signal at the SSS Brechin displayed solid red, the train charged right past it doing nearly 60mp/h with no authority from RTC that I had heard of. Any explanation would be appreciated.</title>
