		<description>What&#039;s amazing is if you load up google earth pro on a computer, you can go back to 1930&#039;s when the welland canal was  built. 

Elevated structures like this , concrete were abound all around thorold as some kind of futuristic transportation network but it was all undone when the new canal was built.  You can see the before/after as they took arial images before and after and it&#039;s all on google earth pro. Look in downtown Thorold it&#039;s quite the structure.

This was/is the last remnant of that.

I was also around when this line was in service and I went to shoot it only once and just missed it. I didn&#039;t know what I was doing though.... silly me</description>
