Comments on: TTC PCC 4107 (A1 class, CC&F 1938) heads southbound on Dundas Street West stopped at Bloor Street West, operating on a King streetcar run heading for Church Street.This view shows the northwest corner of Dundas and Bloor, featuring Al’s Smokes & Gifts (try their Player’s Mild), Bloor & Dundas Hardware (selling CIL Paints), a restaurant/billiards bar, and a pharmacy. The yellow building is a new Hertz Rent-a-Car shop (built where a house used to be) and beyond that is the new Dundas West Subway Station building under construction, for the new crosstown Bloor-Danforth subway line (opened February next year). Where the station is used to be the St. Joan of Arc Church (SW corner of Dundas & Edna).
