Comments on: TTC PCC 4375 (an A6 car built new by CC&F in 1947/48) operates on a Saturday run of the Coxwell streetcar known as the “Kingston Road-Coxwell” route, heading northbound to Danforth Avenue on Coxwell Avenue after having just passed under the CN Kingston Sub underpass between Hanson and Gerrard.

Regular weekday Coxwell route service ran along Coxwell Avenue between loops at Danforth and Queen, but as per Transit Toronto’s Coxwell streetcar route history, evening, weekend and holiday service at the south end was extended east from Coxwell along Queen-Kingston to Bingham Loop near Victoria Park. When the Bloor-Danforth subway was opened a few months later in February 1966 the Coxwell streetcar service was discontinued, although tracks remained on a few portions of Coxwell for deadheading cars (and still do between Gerrard and Queen).
