Comments on: Two VIA RDC’s sit parked on the South leg of the wye from the Chatham Sub at Chatham East, to the Sarnia Spur at Chatham South. The units are in the area conducting tests on crossing response to RDC’s at speed on the Chatham Subdivision. Accompanying the RDC units was VIA F40PH-2d 6442 which towed them down to Chatham in the early hours of Saturday morning. Due to difficulty turning 6442 the plan of having it head the consist home was scrapped and it instead was left in the yard until testing was complete and it pushed the RDC’s back to London. http://www.railpictures.ca The BEST Canadian photos on the Internet, eh?
