Like the Watchman Towers, Burro cranes are no longer a fixture at either of Canada’s Class I’s. The crane in Mr. Mooney’s photo was less than 4 years old at the time.

This is one of your more interesting pictures posted. It is a scene that has long disappeared. I guess you caught the very end of this type of human controlled operations.
