<title>Comments on: Very convenient location for a photo is out on the roof of the Cochrane station/Hotel and the company had newly minted ONR 2100, the first SD75I for the road making the rounds for management and employees to have a first hand inspection. The unit had been on display the day before at Englehart. Seemed like a good idea to follow the engine to it&#8217;s next Open House at Cochrane.
ONR SD40-2s #1734 and 1733 are seen in background, making up a train. Yes, the SD75I, first of 6 acquired, ushered in a new era in locomotives for the ONR, but as luck would have it, the 2100 was wrecked in an accident December 4, 2011; while the old SDs continue to soldier on.</title>
