Comments on: Veteran CP M-630 4572 is viewed trailing on train 515 in Killean siding in Galt, Ontario waiting for a meet with two eastbound’s. Built in 1969 by MLW, the aging locomotive had been retired in December 1993, then un-retired during May 1994 as CP found itself increasingly power short. Unknown to me at the time of the photo, was that 4572 only had less than three weeks left in service before it was ultimately retired for good on April 18, 1995, at St. Luc yard in Montreal, Quebec. http://www.railpictures.ca The BEST Canadian photos on the Internet, eh?
