<title>Comments on: Veteran RS2 8406 leads an eastbound CP freight through Bayview at dusk&#8230;The 8406 was one of four MLW built RS2s on the CP roster, originally built in November 1950 as part of the program for dieselization of the Schreiber Division in northern Ontario. She survived the trade-ins for C424s in the mid-1960s but suffered an electrical fire in 1969 and was scrapped at Angus shops in 1970 (source: Canadian Pacific Diesel Power book by Murray Dean and David Hanna).</title>
