<title>Comments on: VIA #40, with Budd built coaches, rolls by the GTR built Port Hope station

In normal times, a busy place for Toronto commuters with daily stops by VIA trains 651, Saturday 655, 54, 48 and Sunday 648

Currently served by trains 45 and 55.

   March 26, 2018 digital by S.Danko

Interesting: CN had slated the station for demolition, the town council called upon various interests including the Ontario Heritage Foundation, and in the mid 1980&#8242;s the station was restored to the original 1881 appearance

Interesting: the Cameco spur in the foreground see regular use

    in the weeds

    rider platform needed </title>
