Comments on: VIA 63 heads for the TMC after unloading its passengers at Toronto Union Station. The push-pull consist of the main part of the train is typical of all corridor trains during the COVID-19 service reductions. VIA has cancelled the Canadian and Ocean until November 1, in part in order to carry out extensive maintenance work on much of the long distance fleet. This necessitated a series of equipment moves, including these 7 cars on the tail end of 63 from Montreal to Toronto.

Hey David, wonder if the train set tagged on the end of VIA # 63 having come in from Montreal went out on Sun as VIA #11, a special move of Canadian equipment photographed by Steve Bradley and posted above. Great picture and I would have loved to be on the Sunnyside pedestrian bridge with you (staying 6 feet apart, of course). Thanks for posting.

Great catch! Definitely a VIA train you won’t see everyday. I also like how CF is advertising – don’t think the malls are open yet?
