Comments on: VIA has assembled a Siemens ‘XS’ sized J train using donor sets for ‘XL’ 7 cars venture set, out for first road testing as VIA 631/28 to Ottawa on Aug 28th. TS07 2207-2606-2806-2306 jointed by TS25 2324-2824-2624-2224 to make up 32 axles. Except separat for shop works, the XS J train will be operating as one train in future operation to avoid crossing speed restrictions. (2025/08/28)

Very nice picture Lion, never seen the CP and CN rail bridges over part of the Ottawa River and the canal before. This modified Venture train sets is most interesting, and with 32-axles, hopefully this type of consist gets around CN’s speed restriction at level crossings. Thanks for posting, John
