Comments on: VIA LRC 6926 stands at the station in Kingston, ON, still looking shiny & new & ready to head back west to Toronto. I took this photograph while on a school trip by train to Kingston, the 1000 islands & Fort Henry back when I was in grade 7. Taken from onboard the shuttle bus that was returning us back to the train. A sleek low-slung Bombardier locomotive with a turbocharged 3,900hp 251 prime mover pulling sleek modern cars with a banking mechanism to whisk us home in no time all…sure beats the banana bus, our school had good taste in travel!
