[ What&#039;s interesting: #1424 is on display at Medicine Hat; The second car behind the baggage is crew dormitory ex CN twenty four roomette sleeping car I series ( #2000 Indigo to #2019 Ituna ) built 1950.
1980 was final summer for the Canadian&#039;s Montreal morning departure: Trains #1 &amp; 2 - Canadian - operated on CP Rail Montreal to /from Vancouver ( 3 nights ) via Banff; The September 29 1980 Via schedule for #1 became a Montreal evening departure with the North Bay arrival at 04:45 ( #5 a late night Toronto departure ) the first FOUR night schedule to/from Vancouver ( likewise for the Super C ). ] July 12, 1980 Kodachrome by S.Danko.
