Comments on: VIA Rail’s entire switcher fleet. VIA Rail has only two switchers (both ex-Inland Steel SW1000′s) and both are assigned to the Montreal Maintenance Centre. Here both are together and at rest on a quiet Saturday morning. VIA Rail once had two more of these assigned to Toronto, but they were sold off during the mid-1990s.

Hmm, that answers my question as to whether VIA still had any switchers. Neat shot.
