Comments on: Way, way back in the 80s, when CN still staffed GO Trains, I lobbied every manager I ran into to do one thing: run at track speed through Sunnyside so you’re passing everyone in the same direction on the Gardner, and blowing by stopped traffic. Perfect, almost free advertising. Track speed was 80mph in those days. Based on the pace of trains passing today, they’re still doing the same 60ish they always used to do. I still don’t get how they miss it. Everyone must be out of step except me :)

Very nice pan shot, could be 60mph or 80mph. Even at 60 mph, still passing lineups of traffic going in the same direction. Thanks for sharing
