Comments on: We are at South Junction where the CPR Waterloo sub meets the GEXR Huron Park Spur. Switch L91 is the beginning of CPR track – and the straight is the former CNR Waterloo Subdivision which once ran all the way to Galt under the CPR Galt Sub (South side) – in the distance (obscured by snow) is where the line turns and the old CNR Waterloo sub was abandoned in the early 1960′s. After the GRR was re-aligned to this point, CP trains now using SW1200′s had ‘joint section’ on the CNR between here and “North Junction” 2.2 miles to the north where the CPR Waterloo sub re-continued to Waterloo, leading to the famous Street Running on Carline St.
It is highly likely in four or five years the Waterloo Rapid Transit light rail system will be built very close or on this location – it is any wonder what may change to accommodate the RT line, I suspect this photo will no longer be possible.

The LRT was built through here and CN took it all back so it's different now.

I'm giving this a star just for how you have captured the track work. Really nice.
The switch aspect on the extreme left is a tall one.
