Just gorgeous Tim ! The weather, setting and scenery are fantastic as is the heritage paint !! And what a road trip and huge effort to provide an Easterner like me with a view of CPR Rocky Mountain railroading that I would otherwise never see. I will gladly send you gas money . Thank you

Very nice! And you have the scenery too. I notice that there is significantly more traffic out west, and in S. Ont., the CP line north of Toronto (transcon line) and the line between Toronto and Montreal seem to be busier with more intermodal trains.

I was off to the races regardless! Caught up to this guy at Field after leaving Jasper at 0600 for a nice quiet rip down the Icefield Parkway. Followed him all the way to Savona! Don’t think I’ve ever chased a train that far before. Figured I might as well do the Jasper to Jasper circle tour... CP to Kamloops, CN home.

Thanks fellas. Hard to take a bad shot out here, and these beauties make it a lot easier! Hopefully someday they pair these up so we don't have a scuzzy red unit trailing.

Absolutely perfect photograph. One minor suggestion would be to swap out the Diesels for a "Selkirk" under full power, and you're in heaven.
