Comments on: Well, it is almost CP Holiday Train time again. Since I already know I will be too lazy to fight the QEW and Skyway bridge traffic come that day this year, I guess I will cop out by posting an image from 14 years back. This is CP 9824 leading the train over the causeway at Mountsberg; just before sundown, as it is usually dark by the train sets up in Cambridge. Not sure if the south side here at Mountsberg is accessible any more. I shot over here to avoid the pole line. Oddly, this was the first year that my wife and I saw this train, just at Kinnear Yard in Hamilton. Quite the sight. Had the opportunity the next day to catch it going through Waterdown too...nearly did, but the weather didn't cooperate. (Me singing….) ” wade in the water….wade in the water….!” LOL
