<title>Comments on: We&#8217;re back in Vegreville, watching as the &#8220;Budd cars&#8221; leave town headed for points east. In 1971, this train ran daily, departing Edmonton at 1740, stopping in Vegreville at 1906, and arriving North Battleford at 2245. From what I understand, this service lasted until 1977. The station, built in 1930, is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places. It is privately owned and, according to a recent Facebook post, can be rented for events.</title>
