<title>Comments on: Westbound at the CP Rail Leaside crossover *

The one and only: The Empress, MLW 1957 built RSD-17, CP Rail #8921 ( assisted by RS-18 #8795 ) in charge of The Transfer.

track on the right is the Don Branch mile 206.4 Belleville Sub., track switch at near left is for the south service track, to right in the distance is the VIA kiosk for the Havelock Budd

at CP Rail mile 0.2 North Toronto Subdivision, Kodachrome, December 22, 1979 by S.Danko

notable: * Crossover, single: for many decades, just one at Leaside from south track to north track, to allow eastbound Don Branch traffic ( used by the Havelock Budds) to access the north track, hence only the double absolute signal required for eastbound north track traffic.
