Comments on: Westbound Canadian National Railiners (CN’s term for Budd RDC cars) pass Port Credit station, on a “shoe fly” built during construction of the underpass for Hurontario Street (Highway 10) in the Winter of 1962. The station, along with the Oakville Subdivision’s normal right-of-way alignment, platforms and signals can be seen on the right, with construction going on in the background where the line intersected the highway. Temporary signals and platforms were build along the shoe fly for passengers to embark/disembark at the station.
Those signals are interesting, wonder when the ctc searchlights that lasted into 2009-2012 were installed. Mid 60s if I had to guess (similar to most of CN's other trackage)
