Comments on: Westbound CP freight is seen crawling up the grade to the Guelph Line crossing in Campbellville. Power problems of some unknown description his this train almost to a stall. Of interest (for the fans) is the locomotive combination; an SD40 5502 on the lead with a rare GP30 #5000 (one of two on CP)trailing.
The GP30, long retired, now resides at the Alberta Railway Museum and the SD was sold off to HELM in 1999.
Almost mid-April here and there is still snow on the ground. Ugh.

I have maps of the CP London Division from 1969. I just looked at the scans I made of the book, the business at Campbellville was called Crawford coal. I don't know what year the track was removed, but I suspect it was when they put in the continuous welded rail also around 1980-81.

The CTC went in in 1980 to support GO service. This could be Guelph Line, where it should be noted there was no siding, there was however, a track into a business (can't recall the name), the switch was east of Guelph Line on the south side & the track crossed Guelph Line and ran for a few hundred feet west of the road.
