Comments on: What a difference a few years makes. When I first spent time around here, there was some kind of business jutted in the middle of the Huron Park Spur and the GEXR mainline. Then a layover yard was built. Google has since sprung up, built three buildings, and large condos are now built all around this site. That business located by the tracks was razed and a parking garage was built for exclusive use by Google. Us Kitchener area “locals” anticipated the day it would open for nice vantage points for us non drone photographers. Unfortunately, the garage is all locked down, can’t even walk in anymore without a FOB. Every single access point is locked down due to the ‘encampment’ located nearby. Rats. Well, it was good for a year or two while it lasted. Pictured is 568 departing in the “BNSF Era” which also has since ended – all of these are renumbered or repainted.

That's one heck of a nice image. Personally I love the locomotive paint variety.
