Somewhat imitating a VIA Rail paint scheme with its yellow & blue colours and stripes, this business car was devoid of any identification other than its AMTRAK certification No. 800576, and a stencil above the galley door reading ‘Jonathan Wood Oklahoma City, Oklahoma’. Closer inspection of the car revealed it was last named ‘Canadian Sunrise’ which allowed me to trace it backwards as ex-NREX ‘Royal Adventure’, exx-CN 100 ‘Bonaventure’, exxx-CN 90, exxxxx-CN 23.
