Comments on: When CN started to lease the popular blue and white GMTX units, the railfans came out in droves just to capture these units. Out of sight, are fellow foamers Hunter Holmes and Luke Bellefleur. Here we enjoyed the likes of GMTX 2695 leading CN 514 past the old VIA station. Today’s train will have no switching in Blenheim, but rather head straight for Thamesville.

Rumours come and go... have to wait for it to actually happen. Thing is, most rumours have a 'grain' of truth! So it's best to be safe than sorry photographically and go get it if it's important to you.

No, that was the rumour but Thompsons still gets service. I shot CN there in December after they supposedly stopped running down there

It does appear that there is a box at the end. However....not sure where it ended up. According to Hunters photo...514 did go straight to Thamesville and back to Chatham. Now I do stand corrected lol :) Once arriving back in Chatham...they cut off their cars from Thamesville at the north end of the old C&O yard and then ran light to Blenheim. Upon arrival there...they pulled the remaining cars from Thompsons back to Chatham. I believe Thompsons switched to shipping their commodities on the CP...now out of Kent Bridge.

Is that a box on the tail end, Todd? And if so, was that part of the traffic for Thamesville?
